In 2017, Hawktimus Prime won the FNC District State Championship.
STEAMWORKS invited two teams, in an era where steam power reigns, to prepare their airships for a race. Robots collected fuel (balls) and scored it in their boiler via high and low goals. The fuel got turned into steam pressure which was stored in the steam tank on their airship. Robots could also deliver gears to pilots on their airship for installation on rotors. Once the gear train was complete, they turned the crank to start the rotor. Robots then had to latch on to their airship before the end of the match by ascending their ropes to signal that they were ready for takeoff.
